Philip Barker

Phil has been involved in sport for over 25 years as a reporter, commentator and Olympic Historian. He was a member of the launch team for Trans World Sport and later Assistant Producer /Commentator at Eurosport. Phil has covered the Olympic Games since 1996 and his specialisms are Football, Athletics, Cricket, Modern Pentathlon Shooting and the Olympic Movement. Phil has an incredible knowledge of Olympic and Commonwealth Games history and is always willing to help sporting organisations, the media and universities students. His generosity of spirit and passion for the Olympic Movement has seen him volunteer a numerous multi sport events including the Commonwealth and Olympic Games. Throughout his involvement in sport he always aspires to deliver every role to the best of his ability - going the extra mile for anyone and always thinking of others.
