Peter Mumford

Peter was born in Hull and born to be energetic! He started ballet at 2 years old and is now 16 years and on his grade six. He loves dance as it gives him a good body and makes him good at sport. This helped when he aged nine, and I, his mother moved to the valleys in South Wales where he initially endured a lot of bullying about his dance until they realised how good it made him at all sports. He is in the local under 16's football team, his school cricket and basketball team, he has achieved in kempo karate, plays badmington and runs the Nos Galon road race in Mountain Ash every News Year's eve. The excercise helps burn off his excess youthful energy, so he is calm in class and can achieve in school too. He also represents Welsh (!) youth as a dedicated member of the choir 'Only Boys Aloud' and has acted in Gwaith Cartref (Home Work) television programme on S4C, the Welsh speaking channel 4.. He should help represent Britain by running with the Olympic torch?
