Peter Moss

I would like to nominate Peter Moss from Castle Vale Birmingham. Peter is a member of the Vale Youth Green Action (VYGA), a local young people's environmental group. Peter has worked tirelessly to protect the local environment and has spent much of his free time helping VYGA run holiday schemes for young people within Castle Vale. Whilst being engaged in the above Peter has also worked hard at school and is on the point of completing his A 'Levels (predicted 3 A's) and has been offered a place at Durham University to study Geography. Peters success is echoed by the sad statistics of low employment and low aspirations for residents living in Castle Vale and this shining example of striving to achieve over adversity will be sadly missed when he takes up his University place.
