Peter Hayes

Peter is a true hero. Having spent many years protecting his country with the British Army, he most recently served 7 long months in very harsh, dangerous conditions in Afghanistan. Despite facing a very hard time in his personal life when he returned home to the UK, he has managed to remain very positive and has brought so much happiness to his loved ones. As a keen runner he has run several charity events( half marathons and 10Km runs) raising money for both Local and International charities. He has been preparing to run next month to raise money for the crisis in Somalia. I know he would be very proud to carry the Olympic torch on behalf of his country. He certainly deserves it!
