Peter's nomination story

Peter is a sincere and responsible young man, contributing in a generous manner to many aspects of school life. He helps out with our paired reading programme helping younger pupils develop their literact skills, giving up his lunch-time to do so. He is also a Hall Monitor supervising other pupils during break and lunch-time and gave up his Saturdays to help guide P7 children at our Familarisation, Transfer test and Open days. He stayed over after school to participate in our Young Enterprise Team which went on to win the Sperrin & Lakeland Regional Award and competed for the Northern Ireland Final with Peter as Managing Director. He has been working towards the Millenium Volunteers Award and has carried out many hours of voluntary work to date. He has helped disabled children and young adults in various activities within The Saturday and Monday Clubs held at Omagh Leisre Centre. Peter is also a member of Omagh St. Enda's GAA Club and Omagh Golf Club. He also attends Omagh Youth Centre and enjoys circuit training so leads a very active and postive life life both in the school and hislcoal community.
