I nominate Paul because of his work in supporting our next generation of leaders and athletes. He has supported apprentices and students with their career(s) at BMW. I learnt over the years that Paul is also a very big supporter to the local community. As Chairman & Coach of Oxford City Athletics Club he brings fantastic opportunities to children in the local area interested in athletics by giving up his Tuesday, Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings to run coaching sessions for all ages and abilities. Throughout the cross country season, most weekends you will find him in a wet muddy field supporting and coaching the athletes through the cross country competitions, and photographing them so when he gets home he can update the web site with action shots and results. He has been the coach of athletes such as Hannah England who is ranked number one in GB for 1500m and is competing in this year's World Championships in Daegu, South Korea, and triple jumper Nathan Douglas, who in 2010 finished 10th in the European Championships & 4th in the Commonwealth Games, although he is currently recovering from injury.
