During the last academic year, Paul volunteered over 20 hours in Bath each week. Paul volunteered at Mencap's Super Saturday Club, assisted the PE Department at Culverhay school, coordinated the Write Team programme (Bath Festivals` flagship education project) and joined the IDEALS project which fundraised a 5 week trip to Africa where students used sport to educate and empower children from impoverished communities. This year, Paul is continuing his commitments with Mencap, whilst also developing plans to create the 'Ubuntu Foundation' - a charitable organisation which aims to enhance cultural, social and economic exchange between children in Zambia and the U.K.
