Patrick Mcgeever

Patrick is a fantastic support with our NHS sport programme at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust. Without his support, our annual touch rugby tournament would not be what it is today. Patrick joined us in 2008 as a volunteer who wanted to get involved in a physical activity programme. In 2009, he took on a professional course to get his level 1 touch rugby referee qualification so that he could better support our programme. Patrick enjoyed the programme so much that in 2010, he joined a local rugby team in Birmingham. Four years on, Patrick is still a very big part of the NHS Touch programme and uses his qualifications and experience in the rugby field to help coach our staff every Wednesday night. Patrick's dedication to our programme is invaluable and I cannot think of a nicer, more genuine person who deserves this more than him.
