I would like to nominate my Uncle Patsy (aged 69) for his inspiring commitment to the sport in his area - both competing in it and fundraising for it. Patsy has won and holds titles in many categories including: Sprinting: Irish Masters Champion Over 65 in Indoor 60m, Outdoor 100m and Indoor 200m (Record Holder) Sprinting: British Champion Over 65 in Outdoor 100m and Outdoor 200m (2009) Sprinting: Ireland European Champion Over 65 in 2010 Football GAA: Coach & Manager at Club & County Level (Tyrone & Derry) plus Captain for the Minor & Senior Teams Boxing: Represented Ulster in Boxing Rugby: Part of the 'Rainey Old Boys' Team Patsy has also and continues to fundraise for all the sports in his area. For all these reason I think Patsy is a good representive to carry the Torch for Northern Ireland - he is a respected and well thought of person in both Tyrone and Derry Sprinting: Ireland European came is 7th and 5th.
