Patrick Burns

Patrick would be an admirable torch bearer because not only has he served in Her Majesty`s forces as a member of the Parachute Regiment. Additionally not due to losing part of his leg as a result of a road side bomb but due to the fact he has shown amazing courage, good humour and forititude in his recovery. He has a big heart and wants to help people with his kindeness and consideration. Patrick would be immensely proud to do this for his country and as a tribute to those who help all affected by the horror of war. I hope that by the time the torch passes by his area he will be able to run holding the torch for the olympics with his head held high for Britian.
