Owen's nomination story

Owen is 17, when he was 9 he suffered a massive brain haemorrage and underwent emergency surgery which consultants didnt think he would survive, he proved everyone wrong, a week later he suffered a stroke again we were prepared for the worst, after a long recovery he is now a happy and healthy teenager living a normal life, he was described as being a walking miracle by hospital staff. He suffers right sided weakness having cerebral palsy and is registered as partially sighted. He gained great results in his GCSE'S and was awarded with the Outstanding Achievement award from his school. He is now a keen athlete taking part in many national disability competitions hoping one day to get to the paralympics. In his spare time he works with disabled children in sporting activities at his local sports centre. He loves doing this and takes it very seriously, proving no such thing as can't.
