Oonagh Campbell

I have known my friend Oonagh for almost 8 years and in that time she has come through so much in relation to her health. She is a kidney dialysis patient and has many health complications with her condition. Her health has deteriorated more recently making even day-to-day life very difficult, i.e. shopping or housework is impossible for her at present. To all who know Oonagh there is one thing that never changes.... her unending positive attitude and her smile. She is inspirational to me and all around her, making us appreciate our good health and encourage us to live life to the full. Oonagh has often spoken about her desire to receive a successful kidney transplant, and to take part in the transplant games. To carry the Olympic torch will give her a step towards achieving that goal and give her strength to hold on to her dream.
