Olivia's commitment and dedication to sport and those participating professionally and for enjoyment is quite simply exceptional. Volunteering on a weekly basis her passion and genuine interest in people and sport is inspirational. An active member of the City of Sheffield swimming squad since 2004, competing competitively and assisting at regional and national events at the International Ponds Forge venue. Volunteering for the Links School Partnership at the weekly After School Club and Holiday Club for Seven Hills School in Sheffield for children with special needs. Co-ordinating activities for children with a broad range of abilities, Olivia is engaging and enthusiastic. Approaching the end of her first year at the Sheffield Academy for Young Leaders in Sport, Olivia frequently contributes to sport in the city volunteering at a range of activities including the recent GB Volleyball. Highly supportive to her older brother, Alexander who has moderate learning disability, hearing loss and is visually impaired with the support of Olivia he excels in sport. Olivia regularly helps out at Disability Swimming Events and Amateur Swimming Association events. A team player, Olivia has achieved her bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh and is preparing for her Gold.
