When I am playing sport it brings me happiness as I feel as if I belong and the most ultimate experince is rowing through the enclosures at Henley. My dreams are to row for GB some day. I have always loved rowing as quite a few members of my family have rowed for GB and my dear friend who I rowed with died not long ago and I would also do it in memory of them. A few months ago I got badly injured and also became ill. At the time I felt really low then realised that the only thing to do is to get back on the road for recovery and get back into a boat and do great things. I am almost fully recovered but it will be at least a year until I am able to get back into competitive rowing but I've never given up before and I am not going to start any time soon. So advice to anyone who is reading this recovering from injury never give up and you can achieve greatness no matter your dream or past.
