Olivia Jones

Since joining the school, Olivia has shown excellent commitment to sport. She represents the school at hockey, netball and cross-country, excelling in the latter. Olivia has recently represented school in judo, winning a silver medal. Within the community, Olivia belongs to athletics, swimming and judo clubs (Gold, Silver and bronze medals). She is an avid sports fan, excited about the prospect of the London 2012 Olympics- especially athletics. She says, `I am hoping to go to London 2012 and to also soak up some of the atmosphere`. Olivia is a delightful, polite, reliable and friendly member of the school who has shown extraordinary courage, fortitude and resilience in overcoming significant difficulties in her personal circumstances, whilst maintaining a positive attitude throughout. Her sporting success has inspired her to exceed her personal best. This exemplifies the Olympic Values. Olivia certainly deserves her chance to shine and we wholeheartedly support her nomination.
