Olivia's nomination story

My daughter Olivia is a true inspiration to everyone she meets. She was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 6 weeks old and has developed Diabetes and Liver Disease since then. She is currently taking over 60 tablets a day and is on a insulin pump, she has to have physio twice a day. Her illness has never stopped Olivia achieving all her goals. She is determined to be an actress and has already appeared on Waterloo Road (bbc production) 5 times, she has sang on the radio and taken part in lots of shows. Olivia never complains and she has such a positive outlook on life she has a fantastic sense of humour and is the life and soul of any occasion. I am so proud of Olivia and this would be a great achievement for her. Despite being told she would be a small, poorly child, she is now 5ft 7 and is very active. She represents her school in hockey, rounders, netball and athletics. Please consider giving Olivia this opportunity as she has already gone through so much in 14 years with regular hospital check ups and her strict medical regime, 2 liver biopsys and this would be such a treat for her to be part of the 2012 olympic games. thanks in anticipation, Sarah
