Noreen has devoted the past 14 years to showing people with substance dependency that they can lead worthwhile lives free from addictionIn the future I hope to continue to help people recover from their addictions and to become worthwhile members of society. Individuals families and communities are all affected by addiction to drugs and alcohol. By helping people to get well everyone benefits. Every year we hold a Christmas party for all those who have passed through and graduated from our centres. It is heartwarming to see the children of those who have had substance misuse problems in the past. For many children it is the first Christmas that they will get presents as in the past the money would have been spent on drugs for their parents. We have helped thousands of people over the past 14 years to get well and I hope to continue to help many more in the future.
