Nicole Murray

Nicole is an inspirational young person who is a dedicated member of a number of voluntary groups that help make things better for looked after children and young people. Nicole has been in the care of Staffordshire County Council since an early age and has been a true champion for other young people, Nicole has not let the barriers which face looked after young people affect her and she has continued to help make things better along with positively engaging in education and training to be a hairdresser. Nicole has helped the Children in Care Council campaign for a raise in pocket money for all young people who are looked after in Staffordshire. She has helped pilot and implement a Bike Project which resulted in looked after children been given a bike and has been involved in many other projects. Nicole is not only a true champion for young people but she also a kind, thoughtful and motivated person who has given hours of her time to other young people and making Staffordshire a better place.
