Nicole's nomination story

First female to medal at UKSG in 6 years from NI. When i finish my programme in gym i like to help the younger ones get new skills. I would love to attend the proper Commonwealth games in 2014 in glasgow . I am attending Youth Commonwealth Games this week for Womens Artistic Gymnastics in the Isle of Mann. I train 24 hours a week and travel 18 more as I live 35 miles away from Salto Centre and want to be a role model for younger people. I enjoy school and gymnastics and have to balance the two to succeed. I hope to medal at bigger major championships in the future through Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland teams. And when I have finished my training and can go no further I want to obtain my coaching courses so I can give some of my talent to other children. I have been at gymnastics from the age of seven and wouldnt like my life to be without it.
