Nicolas Hope

Nick resides in the Sincil Bank area of the City and is passionate about delivering activities for young people. One of the projects that Nick is involved in is a project known as Stand Up Speak Up. This project is aimed at using sport to bring young people of different nationalities together outside of the school setting. When Nick initially started volunteering on the project it was evident that he was nervous. Witnessing the journey that Nick has been on has been a pleasure to see. Nick is now one of the senior volunteers on the project and he has recently signed up to complete his Level 1 FA Coaching Course. This increased confidence has led him to support a number of voluntary projects within the neighbourhood. He regularly does leaflet drops in the area promoting the various projects running from the club, he helps out at community events such as the Community Fun Day and the Health Promotion Event and he volunteers at the club on a regular basis, helping to clean the hospitality facilities and around the grounds. Nick is a passionate volunteer who strongly believes in improving the lives of young people in his neighbourhood.
