Nicci Shrimpton

Nicci works for Action for Children supporting children and young people with disabilities to enjoy activities with 1:1 support. These activities including swimming and disability sports clubs enable disabled children to access and enjoy activities that they would ordinarily miss out on. Nicci is a thoroughly commited person who dedicates her own time to go the extra mile to make sure that every child who needs it can experience a variety of activities. She recently organised 3 trips for children to go on a narrow boat, taking some young people who have limited opportinuties in their community to experience something new and different. She is a single parent with 2 boys, and regardless of what commitments she has both in work and in her own life, always manages to show just how much of a difference one person can make to the lives of others. A true inspiration to others.
