Nicola Ross

Nicola does the accounts for a care company. Since May she has volunteered to spend her free time planning and running day time and evening entertainment for the elderly residents of The Manors carehome and our local community. Each week she never stops! She works in Finance, studies at Uni but then she is also contacting numerous teachers and agencies to help bring arts and entertainment into the elderly residents lives. Before June come 4pm the residents sat in their flats.... but because of Nicola's ideas and planning they now all attend exercise classes (making them healthier) arts classes (learning them pottery and arts) and attending entertainment events including cinema nights and watching tribute bands that they all love. She loves doing this and always gets involved by getting dressed up for every event. She deserves to be recognised for all her hard work!
