Nicky Miles

My personal achievement has to be running the london marathon back in 2006. I did this to raise funds for my cousin who has cystic fibrosis. He has had this all his life and has been in and out of hospital but was always positive in life and tried to carry on with normal things like teenagers do lke football, cinema, pubs! When he died I realised how important funds for research in this disease were so took upon the training. It wasn't easy as I had only run 35 mins before then but was one of the most special days in my life. The support and cheers from the crowd and my friends made me feel proud that I had done this for jason. I would love to have this feeling and to be proud to carry the torch in memory of him!
