(Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd) From taking on the Three peaks challenge for charity to performing benefit gigs with my band and helping cook over 1000 bacon rolls for participants in a midnight charity wall, I am a keen fundraiser and committed member of my local community. In addition to the regular shows I help organise as lead singer of the 'Plastic Maxxx' to raise cash for a meningitis charity, my fundraising efforts recently included DJing at a Zumbathon charity event for my local sports centre. I am actively involved with my local church, leading services and working with the youth at the church. I also roll up my sleeves as part of the cleaning rota to assist with the upkeep of the building. I will be raising money for Radio lollipop at the London Rat Race challenge in September, bringing to over £10,000 the amount I have raised for charity in recent years.
