Nick Koopman

The person I would like to nominate is my son Nicholas Koopman. This is because he is an Olympics enthusiast since he was a little boy of five watching the Barcleona games. My son helps out extensively in the local community both for his local church St Paul's parish taking disabled people to Lourdes and assisting them to have a wonderful experience. This is, however, not his only contribution as he helps his local football side Hyde F.C. bring football into the community and help local kids become involoved in the sport. This is though his voulentary work as a matchday assistant and official photographer. The work he does to help French, German and Italian teenagers come to Britian and experience this wonderful culture through voluntary work on Denton town twinning is also important for developing culture links in the community.
