Neil Mawdsley

Not only does Neil Mawdsley have the important and time consuming role of Deputy Head at my daughters primary school but his passion, enthusiasm and commitment to the number of sports clubs he coaches and runs after school is nothing but amazing. Team sports include tag rugby, football,and cricket with these all running separately to cater for both girls and boys. The sporting success of the school is a reflection of his teaching ability and his unselfishness with his spare time especially as he himself has three young daughters who attend a different school.The primary school displays an impressive trophy cabinet and in the last 12 months alone, the school has won 7 district titles, 2 county titles, (making appearances in 2 further county finals), 1 regional title and the girls Kwik cricket team have finished third in the national finals three times in the last four years.
