By actively working for her community setting up a recycling scheme working with youth groups representing her town and fundraising! My passion is helping in my community. I am working a lot on recycling. It scares me to hear the news about how the planet consumes more than we can afford but I think if we all did our bit by recycling we could really do some good. I set up a recycling scheme this year because I felt so strongly about how much we waste. I hope by the talks and emails I have given to the pupils and teachers I have inspired them to continue my scheme and make it bigger and better. I was chosen to be the Largs Rotary clubs first Brisbane Ambassador who promotes the Brisbane heritage around Largs. I think it is important to keep alive the history of our town. I ran a competition to design art for a storyboard being erected on a bridge in Largs.
