Natalie is only 18 , yet has acheived so much by her shear determination to be the best she can be. She worked very hard at school and gained 10 A*'s at GCSE level, 3 A's first year of A levels (currently waiting for results at A2 level). She obtained her Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold Award. She has raised sponsorship to enable her to visit Nepal and India over the last two summers, giving her time and energy into helping less fortunate children. Raising her own sponsorship to be able to make these trips involved alot of hard work and effort by Natalie. She gave up weekends to 'bag pack', held 'cake bakes' , went to many car boot sales , ran the Lincoln 10K for sponsorship, and did a presentation to the Lincoln Lions Club (at the age of just 16) to obtain funds from them for her innoculations. Back at home she gives her time to coach young netball players (she is a qualified Level 1 coach and umpire). Natalie will put herself out to help at all day netball tournaments (whatever the weather!) and has so much energy and such a desire to acheive the best she can for herself and others. She plays at regional standard netball and gives everything to every match and is a wonderful team player. She is respectful to her elders and team mates and officials, even when things are not going right! She understands fair play and , eventhough she is a natural leader she respects others and will take advice. She is a true inspiration to all young people.
