Morgan's nomination story

Morgan has a passion to volunteer, and has done over 1000 hours of it over the past two years. It wouldn't be possible to list everything she has done, because of the past few years Morgan's volunteering has become such a regular activity I hardly notice when she does something new. Her charity work included a 10k midnight walk in Manchester to raise money for Sue Ryder Care, and a fire walk for the Heart Foundation. Between 2009 and 2010 she spent months helping care for people through Vitalize at various respite centers. She then became an ambassador for the V20 and dedicated time to organizing youth volunteering. This included organizing volunteers at a music festival and being involved in the selection process for the national young volunteer awards. After moving to Scotland in 2010, to study at Robert Gordon University, she immediately became involved with the RAG community. Activities that she has been involved in are including an underwear fashion show and helping to organize the 'nippy dip' for RAG week, which raised £1500, and spending a weekend with another team of RAG members in Applecross, painting and helping the charity venture trust. The Fire Walk was for the Stroke Association, not Heart Foundation.
