Molly's nomination story

Molly first engaged in boxing in 2007 as a 13 year old pupil at North Liverpool Art Academy. She joined the after school club hosted in partnership between Liverpool Boxing Development and the Salisbury ABC. Molly then completed the 8 weeks course and on completition joined the Salisbury ABC. Molly trained as a recreational boxer at first, but having Asthma it restricted her competitively. Molly then turned her hand to supporting others and gained an ABAE Leaders Award in partnership with the school and club and began to support coaching sessions. Molly then qualified at the age of 16 as a Level One assistance coach and was fast tracked the same year to become a Level 2 coach. Molly currently volunteers delivering 12 hours a week coaching at the Salisbury ABC delivering sessions to young people and delivers 2 sessions per week at her old school to both KS3 and 4 students. Molly also delivers sessions within the Merseyside and Cheshire Female Squad system, has been Talent ID as a furture England National coach, mentored by the current National Female Coach and invited along to assist in the National Female Squad Coaching Molly also delivred 24hrs at the Liverpool Boxing Development Summer Camp in August as a volunteer and has recently been nomitaed for Young Volunteer of the Year by the Merseyside Sports Partnership.
