Molly's nomination story

Molly has had a hard year in the space of 5 weeks in October losing her G. aunt, finding her pony dead & then losing her grandmother, a lot for an 11/ 12 yr old to cope with. She threw herself into her cross country & athletics with a dream of one day representing her country, only to sustain an injury in January which prevented participation in even this. Despite this injury she still completed 2 triathlons to ensure the team still placed. When finally correctly diagnosed as a fracture she has helped and encouraged other team mates and classmates to give their best. Although unable to compete in her chosen disciplines she still turned out for the teams in field events to help towards the points for promotion. I believe her tenacity and enthusiasm deserve a chance to shine, and would love for her to have her moment. She has been focused on the olympics since being 4 years old with an enduring dream to be a part of it. She is an inspiration to her classmates who would echo the sentiments here.
