Masud Rahman

Masud is a good friend of mine known to me from Medical School since 1962. He is a very passionate sport person.He has participated in Rome Olympic teamin 1960 as a captain East Pakistan Basket ball .He has completed 10 Half marathon -Great North Run. also he has completed 30 miles cycle ride -- North Ride for 3 times. He has been serving the community of Stanely as a professional status of General Practitioner . He cares and support an elderly disable colleague/ friend whenever needed by close contact with his family. Also he gives his supportive hand to this unfortunate colleague's disable young daughter who severely suffers with MS. His personal involvement like visiting frequently, giving relief to the family carer help intensely and boost moral support. One of his desire of life to carry Olympic Torch. He will feel honourable to carry the Torch as a Bangladeshi British Citizen . I wish Masud all the success to receive this honour once in his life time.I was captain of East pakistan Basket ball team & I went to Rome olympic -1960 with Pakistan hockey team as young player ,When pakistan won first ever gold medal beating India
