Mo's nomination story

Mohammad has always gone out if his way and given up his time to make a difference in peoples' life. At school he chosen by his teachers to be deputy head boy & elected to the student council to help bring about changes. He was then elected as student ambassador to act as a mentor & role model .Currently Mohammad is a volunteer at the hospital, going everyday regardless of the weather despite being in a wheelchair as a result of a car crash. At the hospital he helps on the wards, with the dinners and the tea-round but more importantly he sits and talks to the patients and listens to them because he choses to give up his time to provide a listening ear, companionship and a smile to the patients who sometimes go days without visitors. He has overcome many difficulties in his young life due to his paralysis but instead of using them as an excuse to give up he takes strength to carry on.
