Mohamed's nomination story

Through 2010 and into 2011, Mohamed had committed every Sunday for a period of 6 months to train as a Special Police Constable with the Metropolitan Police Service. He made this decision to be able to volunteer 20 hours a month as a volunteer police officer in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham enabling him to be able to give something back to his home city of London. His passion and pride pushed him through a 6 day working week for the period of training; he had to pass many tests and exams to graduate from Hendon in March 2011. Mohamed is also a regular marathon runner and I know he would be very proud to be involved in the Olympic torch relay; therefore, I have no hesitation in nominating Mohamed as an Olympic torch relay carrier on behalf of IHG.
