Mitch is a real inspiration, since 14 (now nearly 18) he has done 2000hrs community work with youngsters/adults both Mainstream and Special needs in his sport of judo as a player/coach/leader/official etc he has won many making a difference /police / British Judo / International 2007-10 / welsh awards as well as making top 3 ( Young Person) in this years 2011 Inspire Wales Awards Finals (finals June 18th) He has been a UK Schools Games Young Official 2009 as well as Welsh / British Competition Official 2008-present date and is also waiting to hear if he has been chosen as a young Gold Ambassador for 2012. Mitch is a quiet unassuming young man who does and gives so much more than can be written here, He comes from a disadvantaged area but has not let this hold him back, but has just made him want to prove himself. He is still in 6th form doing his A levels and hoping to go to University in September. It would be fantastic to see him rewarded in this way to be a part of something that would mean so much to him, PLEASE as he expects nothing for ALL he does.Mitch has also been selected to Officiate at the 2011 UK School Games and for the 2012 Commonwealth tournament in Wales. Hes been invited to the S.Wales Police Community Safety Awards Turned 18 and now done well over 2000hrs of Voluntary work.
