Michael Scott

Mike took time off work unpaid to raise money to help a local girl called sophie raise money for an operation that could only be preformed in USA. He saw a fund raising tin in a local shop asking for support. sophie was unable to walk but really wanted to dance. There was a life changing operation that promised to help Sophie to walk. Mike has a daughter that loves to dance so he decided to try and raise funds to support her. He linked up with a local radio station to publicise his fundraising efforts and decided that he would cycle from John O Groats to Lands end, by himself unaided and climb the highest mountain in each country. Mike succeeded and all the money he raid went directly to Sophie. Sophie has since had the operation and is now walking and learning how to dance.
