Mike works as a road engineer dealing with numerous issues relating to the travelling public. Despite the serious nature of the job he is always smiling and finds time for his staff. He has served in the TA for 24 years and served in Bosnia and Iraq. He has also helped to develop emergency disaster plans in a number of countries around the world. He has always been involved in raising money for charity by making a fool of himself in the school panto and last year cycled 350 miles through Normandy in aid of Help for Heroes, raising over £1500. He is modest, rational, helpful, constructive, positive and professional and would describe himself as just an ordinary guy . He is 54 years young and is a typical English man with sound beliefs and patriotic. His signature tune is 'always look on the bright side of life.
