Michael Henry

My Husband Michael during the last 6 years of so has started running to raise money for the MS Society. This Charity is close to his heart as his sister has MS and the Society have been amazing support to her and their family Michael has ran I would say around 5000 miles in that time. He has ran the Dublin Marathon in 2006, The london Marathon in 2008 and 2010. In 2010 he himself was sick and on the day he really should not have taken part but he did not want to let anyone down. This year is is running 7 Half Marathon including the Great north Run in Sep and in 2012 he hopes, if he can get in to do the London Marathon again He has Raised over 10,000 pounds and I am so pround of what he has set out to do. In that time he has also lost 4 stone in weight again agreat achivement I know he would love the opportunity to be in the replay team as even though he gets lots of support this would be a great reward for his efforts. and would be great exposure for his chossen charity. Michael only cares about other and he recently said on Facebook when someone told him he was mad doing so much runnning.His reply was, ' As long as we can put one foot in front of another we should always try an help others that can not help themselves' I am very Pround of him and would love to see him carry the flame in Northern Ireland Clare Henry
