Melanie is a fighter!

She has Multiple Sclerosis and sometimes this means that she has to make a huge effort to undergo her daily duties. Some of the symptoms she has to deal with are acute fatigue, chronic pain and difficulties with coordination and balance. She is constantly on the move visiting various agents and corporates often working long hours and having to represent British Airways at various events that are sometimes held in the evenings or at week-ends. Despite this she tries not to show how exhausting this can be and moves forward with a permanent smile and good sense of humour. She should represent all those colleagues, men and women throughout the world who have chronic or degenerative diseases but continue to fight to live a normal life, daily going that extra mile and keeping the flame burning inside them.
