As a completion engineer at BP, Beran brings the pursuit of excellence to his job and pushes himself to perform at the highest level. He demonstrates his commitment to his profession by sharing his knowledge with the engineers of the future and encourages them to work hard to achieve their career ambitions. A native of Turkey, Beran has taken it upon himself to be the unofficial local Aberdeen ambassador, offering assistance and friendship to those BP employees who are new to Aberdeen. This has certainly helped people feel welcome when they first arrive in the city. He has also contributed to the local community by taking part in the annual coast-to-coast cycle rides. To date, these sponsored rides have raised over £315,000 for local charities.
