Megan Newton

Stour Valley community school was asked to nominate a student who embodies the Olympic values of friendship, excellence and respect. These are a selection of the comments made about Megan: She is the epitome of determination in all aspects of school life. Things don`t come easy yet she tries hard and never complains. She is a great friend to others and displays true sportsmanship on the sporting field. She is kind, polite, helpful and giving and is truly deserving of this amazing opportunity. Megan`s progress at this school has been fantastic. She always tries hard and never gives in. She works with enthusiasm and her vigour encourages those around her. I am happy to put forward Megan to represent our school community as an olympic torch bearer and cannot think of anyone who could better demonstrate what is possible with determination, focus and the right attitude.
