Matt Wise

Matt completed the Cycling Award for Young Volunteers Gold award (36 hours volunteering in club management, officiating and coaching) and achieved Young Volunteer of the Year for the South East in 2011.

Matt assisted Regional Go-Ride Coaches in some of their school delivery as well as volunteering at his local school during cycling activities organised by the School Go-Ride Club, Thomas A Beckett.

He qualified as a level one coach and has coached regularly on a voluntary basis both at Preston Park track and at the VC Jubilee Saturday morning sessions.

Matt has also volunteered at events including Hove Park Go-Ride Race evenings, Preston Park South East Regional Omnium and the 'Little Dog' MTB event at Stanmer Park.

Through Matt's voluntary coaching our Youth (approx. 40) and adult members have regularly benefitted from his supervised coaching.

Matt is planning to complete the Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Cycling.
