Matthew Rees

For a decade Matthew Rees has been the un-sung hero of the BBU's back office, albeit he comes from a totally non-biathlon background. As un-paid assistant to the Secretary General he has been particularly responsible for all the BBU photography, graphic, web design and marketing activities, as well as helping on the accounts and a myriad of general office duties. He devotes some 3 or 4 hours every week to this volunteer work and also helps "on the circuit", as he wrote the unique race results computer programme that is required for the British & Army Championships where he also provides support for a couple of weeks every winter. The BBU has no International athletes from Wales and fully believes that Matthew would be a fine "Welsh representative".
