Matt's nomination story

Matthew is a student who althought he has a physical disability and is particularly small for his age has got `stuck into` life in a mainstream secondary school. He gets extremely tired but enver makes excuses and continues to do what he needs to do through sheer determination. He has been nominated by his peers (both able-bodied and disabled) to represent their views on the house council. He is respected by them and equally shows them respect. He has ensured the safety of another disabled student, by advising him in a friendly manner. He is very popular with all our students. He is a very able sportsman and takes any sporting opportunity that comes his way. He participated in our parallel games team while he was still in junior school and was part of the winning team. He loves wheelchair basketball and riding the hard-bikes. He will give everything a go although only 12 he is already a great role model and we have high hopes for him as he matures. Finally he is fun and has a good sense of humour
