Although it might be a small part of a much bigger picture, I would want to use the opportunity to be an Olympic torchbearer to try and influence people to drive for success and achieve their full potential.

Using video technology, I took it upon myself to enhance and personalise the service customers get at Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy Europe. Using my passion and determination I've overcome many challenges, growing the service from a team of three to a full rollout across our retail estate in the north of the UK.I did it to prove that while the mobile phone industry doesn't always get good press, there are companies out there - like us - who truly believe that customers deserve world class service. We're truly focused on delivering that, and what I'm doing really brings service to life. Having the opportunity to be a torchbearer would be one of the proudest moments of my life; I want young people to see that if you believe in yourself, work hard and strive to be the best, opportunities like this are there for the taking.
