Matthew Ash

My son Matthew has Asperger's Syndrome & has exceeded everyones expectations from a non-verbal toddler to a young man who has an incredible interest in sport who would love to have tried competing in Athletics for the Paraolympics. He could run really fast. Sadly Matthew was knocked down by a car outside his College last year & had a badly dislocated ankle which was broken in 2 places & had to miss out on many activities. Matthew is now fully mobile again but his agility has been considerably affected. His mood has been low & confidence affected. He has raised a considerable amount of money for the Spinal Injuries Association, Finnish Spitz Society & works part time for the Shaw Trust. Matthew's ambition is to be a sports journalist. He has an amazing knowledge of all the Olympic sporting disciplines & he would be 'over the moon' if he could be a torch bearer. Please consider him. Thanks
