Martin Uden

I have served 10 years in Korea as a British diplomat, including 3 ½ years as Ambassador. My attachment to Korea is very real, having met my wife in Seoul and published a book on Korea, based on my extensive collection of old books about this wonderful country. I would hope that my involvement in the Torch Relay would be symbolic of the many connections between the UK and Korea, two great sporting nations and Olympic hosts of the London 2012 and Pyeongchang 2018 Games.
