Martin Plant

(University of Huddersfield) I am a level 1 qualified coach and like thousands of Dads (and mums) and sports mad adults across the country I invest time and energy into developing the football skills of boys and girls from age 5-18. I am based at the Stalybridge Celtic Soccer Centre in Cheshire and have responsibility for the under 13's. I have coached all abilities and ages at the soccer school and my primary aim is to ensure that the young people who come to us have a great time, get some focussed exercise and enjoy playing the game and hanging out with other kids. I organise games and equipment, skills coaching, provide a listening ear and tend to cut knees. Youth coaching constantly renews my love for the game and allows me to be creative, useful and make a difference in the lives of young people.
