Martha Todd

At Earlston High School we appoint House Captains based on strict criteria. Students need to be responsible, mature and very relaible. It is very important that they can motivate others and be a poitive role model with high levels of sporting participation. As we see a decline in participation of teenage grils in sport it is refershing to teach a youngster like Marthya. She is a quietly confident,k dedicated, hard working student in school. She is an outstanding hockey player showing realy commitment to her extra-curricular activities. In a generation where sport often has to compete with technology, it is a pleasure to nominate Martha, a well mannered, freindly, and active young person. Hopefully the legacy of the Olympics 2012 qwill be to encourage more of teh youth today to be liek martha - positive, solid, reliable citizens who go quietly about their business with a smile, always trying to achieve their best.
