Marko Bostjancic

Marko has ignited several major charity projects in Slovenia. The biggest program was with the frame of Telekom Slovenia - the SMS charity note. If you write a text message to a special number you automatically donate 1 Euro for a charity organization that is selected beforehand. Of course the messaging is for free. The basic idea was to change people's mindset and see how easy it is to do something good for the community with only one Euro. The money is donated to local Slovenian children organizations but also to projects abroad. For example a special SMS charity was initiated after the tsunami hit Indonesia. Over the past 3 years we were able to collect 1 Million Euro with this platform - it is an effort to help the most vulnerable in our society and to provide them with new opportunities.
